Team Mad Dog

Team Mad Dog was formed in honor of the late Jim Mandich, who lost his battle to bile duct cancer in 2011.  With his spirit leading the way, we personally invite you to join Team Mad Dog and ride with us.

My father’s passion for this community drove his decision to remain here in South Florida to receive the world-class care of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He was proud that two of South Florida’s iconic institutions – the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami – teamed up in his honor to take on the fight against cancer for him and for the thousands of residents who need world-class care right here in South Florida.

Our goal this year is to surpass 2,500 riders and well-exceed last year’s $2,200,000 donation to Sylvester. You can ride in honor of my father, your father, your mother, or loved one who is battling this disease right now. Whatever the inspiration, whatever the reason, we simply cannot do it without you.

Together, we WILL tackle cancer one mile at a time and vigorously fight for a cure for cancer in South Florida.
