About Alex’s Place DCC Kids Ride

Alex’s Place DCC Kids Ride, which provides three riding options for children between age 3 and age 13, connects younger cyclists to the goals and mission of the Dolphins Cycling Challenge, the two-day tri-county charity cycling event. The purpose of the DCC and Alex’s Place DCC Kids Ride is to raise awareness and collect funds for cancer research and treatment at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

By participating in the Alex’s Place DCC Kids Ride, children will learn that cancer can affect everyone, not just adults, as the funds they raise will be designated to benefit children being treated at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Three different age appropriate routes are availab

le for kids between age 3 and age 13.  All Kids Rides take place on the grounds of Sun Life Stadium without traffic.

At the conclusion of the Kids Ride, riders will travel through the same tunnel that players run through on game day onto the field at Sun Life Stadium where the Sun Life Stadium Celebration will be taking place, honoring those who participated in raising funds and increasing cancer awareness.

$50 Additional suggested fundraising amount

Kids who reach “Top Tackler” status by raising over $150 before the fundraising deadline will receive an additional gift in the mail following the ride.  Top Tackler gifts in the past have included backpacks and autographed footballs.
